Terms and Conditions for Closeup #NajikAau Trivia

The contest is being conducted on behalf of Unilever Nepal Limited (hereinafter referred to as ‘Organizer’) under the brand “Closeup” by Prismark Marketing (hereinafter referred to as ‘Agency’) having its office at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Nepal.

  1. Before participating in the contest, all participants must read the Terms and Conditions given here.
  2. The Closeup #NajikAau Trivia is valid from 31st January, 2024 to 24th February, 2024.
  3. Eligibility
    1. The contest is open to everyone residing in Nepal, ages 18 and above. The entries will be accepted only if they are submitted between the aforementioned dates.
    2. Participation in the contest is voluntary.
    3. The employees, agents, associates, business partners, subsidiaries and advertising agencies (including their immediate family members), and all others directly associated with the organizer and the agency are not eligible to participate.
  4. How to participate

    The contest will be conducted on the Platform “www.closeupnajikaau.com”. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the Platform. The Platform is hereby completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to Unilever Nepal Limited and not to the Platform.

    Step 4 - Click on Submit

  5. The Participant is allowed to participate multiple times
  6. Each participant will be provided with a unique QR code which they will be required to download in order to claim the winnings.
  7. It is strictly prohibited to upload content (picture/text/any other content) of any kind that contains expressions of hate, abuse, offensive images or conduct, obscenity, pornography, sexually explicit or against any religious sentiments or against any caste, creed or race or any material which is offensive to women or disrespectful or defamatory or any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law or regulations or that otherwise may be in conflict with these Terms and Conditions or applicable law. It is also clarified that any entry which is in the reasonable opinion of the Organizer is found to be obscene, offending, and hurtful shall be rejected immediately, and appropriate action will be taken against the said participant.
  8. The prizes for Closeup #NajikAau Trivia will be as follows:
    1. 1 winner who has answered the question correctly will be selected via lucky draw and will receive gift hamper from Closeup.
  9. If any participants do not collect their prize within one week of being announced as the winner, such participant’s selection may be canceled and another participant will be announced as winner instead.
  10. The prize is personal to the winners and is not transferable and cannot be sold under any circumstances.
  11. Organizer accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winning. Winners will have to bear incidental costs, if any, that may arise from redemption of the prize.
  12. The organizer may use the picture and videos of the winners and participants with the prize/gift taken at the time of collecting the prize/gift for any promotional/marketing purpose of the company.
  13. By submitting a valid entry in the contest, the participants, unless the Organizer advises otherwise or is prohibited by law, license and grant the Organizer, its affiliates, and sub-licensees an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such entry (tweet or post), in whole or in part, for any purpose including but not limited to future promotion, marketing, advertising or publicity purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. By participating in the contest, the participants agree and acknowledge that:
    1. The entries are original;
    2. The participants shall not raise any future claim(s) whatsoever against the Organizer. The participants further agree and acknowledge that the sole right to use the entries shall exclusively lie with the Organizer and the Organizer shall be entitled to use these entries at any point in time for any purposes (including commercial purposes) that the Organizer deems appropriate, and the participants confirm that they waive to raise any claims whatsoever with respect to the entry submitted by the participants.
  14. Organizer assumes no liability or responsibility for (i) any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies of content or submissions, (ii) personal injury or property damage of any nature resulting from participant’s access to, participant’s exposure to or participant’s participation in the contest (iii) Any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information that may be contained therein (iv) Any deletion of data or interruption or discontinuance of transmission to or from or through the contest.
  15. The Organizer will not be liable for any loss of data due to server issues and other technical faults that may come up in the real time monitoring of the valid Entries uploaded by participants during the contest Period. Organizer shall not be liable for any loss of prize due to incorrect email address or any other information provided by the participant or the failure of the winner to receive the same due to technical faults. The Organizer will be absolved of its liability after it has sent the prize from its network.
  16. In case of any dispute with regard to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of the Organizer will be final and binding. The Terms and Conditions may be changed without prior information. The organizer will not entertain any correspondence regarding the contest and the decision of the judges.
  17. Notification of the winner status must be kept confidential until the winner is publicly revealed by the Organizer or the Winner’s Prize may be forfeited as per the Organizer’s discretion.
  18. By participating in this contest, the participant unconditionally and irrevocably accepts and agrees to be bound by all these terms and conditions as stated herein at all times.

Terms and Conditions for Closeup Love Notes UGC Contest 2024

The contest is being conducted on behalf of Unilever Nepal Limited (hereinafter referred to as ‘Organizer’) under the brand “Closeup” by Prismark Marketing (hereinafter referred to as ‘Agency’) having its office at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Nepal.

  2. The Love Notes UGC Contest is valid from 31st January, 2024 to 24th February, 2024.

    1. The contest is open to everyone irrespective of their residency, ages 18 and above. The entries will be accepted only if they are submitted between the aforementioned dates.
    2. Participation in the contest is voluntary.
    3. The employees, agents, associates, business partners, subsidiaries and advertising agencies (including their immediate family members), and all others directly associated with the organizer and the agency are not eligible to participate.
  4. How to participate

    Step 2 - Go to Love Notes wall section

    Step 3- Click on “Create my Love Note”

    Step 4 - Select template for your message and write a love note

    Step 5 - Click on submit

    The participants will have the option to download the love note and share it on their social media (Facebook and Instagram) platform

  5. Selected love note will be published on the love notes wall of the Platform. The organizer retains the right to discard any love notes that do not meet the established criteria.
  6. The Participant is allowed to participate multiple times

  8. The participant must refrain from sharing the QR code or posting pictures on social media as each entry is equipped with a unique QR code. The Organizer will not be liable to provide a gift in case the QR code is misplaced by The Participant.

It is strictly prohibited to upload content (picture/text/any other content) of any kind that contains expressions of hate, abuse, offensive images or conduct, obscenity, pornography, sexually explicit or against any religious sentiments or against any caste, creed or race or any material which is offensive to women or disrespectful or defamatory or any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law or regulations or that otherwise may be in conflict with these Terms and Conditions or applicable law. It is also clarified that any entry which is in the reasonable opinion of the Organizer is found to be obscene, offending, and hurtful shall be rejected immediately, and appropriate action will be taken against the said participant.
  10. The prizes for the UGC contest will be as follows:
    1. 3 winners will be selected via lucky draw who will receive a romantic dining experience for 2 at any 5-star hotel of the Organizer’s choice.
    2. Additionally, the 50 shortlisted participants will receive gift hampers from Closeup via a lucky draw.
